Excellence with Ease™: It Doesn’t Have To Be So Hard

Do you ever think, “It shouldn’t be this hard”? Whether it’s a challenging project at work or a strained relationship, sometimes it feels like the effort required is more trouble than it’s worth. But what if there was a way to do things with less struggle and more ease?

One of our core values at The Ladipo Group is Excellence with Ease™. This principle is about delivering high-quality services and achieving excellence but doing so with as much ease as possible. It’s a constant practice of self-reflection, assessing what’s truly needed to serve our clients, our communities, and ourselves—without overburdening ourselves with unnecessary tasks or burnout.

As we near the end of 2024, it’s the perfect time to reflect on the year and think about how we can move forward with more ease in 2025. Sometimes, we’re so caught up in our daily grind that we forget to stop and assess what’s working—and what isn’t.

Self-Reflection and Action

Something to Think About

Before you start making resolutions for next year, make time for self-reflection.

  • Professionally – What projects did you accomplish with ease? What made those projects flow smoothly? How can you bring more of that into future work?

  • Personally or professionally – Which relationships brought you the most joy and ease? Why? What did you and the other person do to cultivate ease?

Something to Do

Reflecting is the first step. Action is where the real change happens.

  • Professionally – Take a moment to share your favorite project with your manager. Think about what you loved about it, what you learned, and what you’d like to do more in the coming year.

  • Personally or professionally – Reach out to someone who added joy and ease to your life. Let them know the impact they had on you this year.

Creating Ease in the Year Ahead

As you reflect on your accomplishments and relationships from 2024, think about how you can intentionally build more ease into your life moving forward. Excellence doesn’t have to come with struggle. The best kind of excellence often emerges when we work smarter, not harder—by focusing on what truly matters and letting go of what no longer serves us.

Excellence with Ease™ is about aligning your efforts with your values and finding the flow that makes your work and life more fulfilling. As we’re days away from the new year, consider how you can make your journey toward excellence a little easier, more joyful, and with more ease!
