Albert is a Licensed Associate Counselor with a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Monmouth University. He has been in the field of Mental Health for the past 7 years working in various roles throughout that journey. He has experience working in settings at multiple levels with clients ranging from ages 14-65. Albert specializes in addictions counseling, relationship counseling and thought disorders while using a wide range of interventions like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Acceptance Commitment Therapy.

Albert’s philosophy in counseling comes from the belief in one’s natural-born value, strengths, and capabilities. Although challenges are inevitable, he believes that problems, struggles, and difficulties all provide opportunity. Albert believes that when we are able to view struggles through the lens of possibility, we can begin the work of healing – and that healing is communal. Albert is dedicated to the uplifting and improvement of the community and evidences such via community service through the organizations of which he is a member.

Although Albert is native to New Jersey and proudly represents, he has been engaged in service to and has a strong affinity for the Philadelphia community over the past 5 years. Albert’s passions are music (creating and listening) and education. He also enjoys creative writing, spoken word, anime, arts & crafts, and spending quality time with family/friends.
