Hillary Williams

“Hillary is a licensed social worker who believes that therapy and mindfulness are tools that everyone can benefit from. She graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Rutgers University and earned her Master of Social Work degree from Hunter College: Silberman School of Social Work. She has seven years of experience working with adults who have experienced grief, loss, domestic violence, sexual assault, childhood abuse, and trauma. She is also certified and trained in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders to support people who may need emotional and mental support throughout the stages of their reproductive journey. Hillary is proficient in several treatment modalities, including psychoanalysis, cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, narrative trauma processing, and crisis intervention. She is intentional about creating a welcoming, non-judgmental therapeutic environment where people of marginalized identities can feel safe and supported.

Hillary focuses on being empathetic and helping clients understand how their environment, relationships, and past experiences have impacted -but not defined- their lives. Her goal is to empower patients to take control of their narrative and move forward with self-compassion and the tools to navigate their stress and trauma.

Hillary was born and raised in Philadelphia but lived in New York City, working with trauma survivors for 6 years before relocating back to the Philadelphia area.
