Procrastination = Stress

We live in a time where there is so much to do and not enough time to do it. Sometimes rather than tackle our to-do list we avoid it. Then we feel overwhelmed which leads to more stress and more procrastination. It becomes an endless cycle.

do thing you dread in AM~ only spend 20 min on it ~ reward yourself

Interrupt your pattern of procrastination to help reduce your stress. Rather than spend hours dreadinclockg a task do it first thing in the morning. Commit to doing it for 20 minutes. When the 20 minutes ends you may surprise yourself and want to keep going. If not, stop, be proud, and reward yourself for doing what you’ve been dreading.

Finally, acknnowledge that you’re human and making changes takes time and support. If you slip up, forgive yourself and try again. Feeling guilty and shameful doesn’t help but just makes it worse. Acknowledge what is, forgive yourself, and move on.
