Alison holds a Doctoral degree in Organizational Development/Education from Northeastern University in Boston. Her research focused on organizational change and institutional courage. Her expertise is in qualitative research and data analysis. In addition, she has a Master of Science in Sociology from Saint Joseph’s University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Catholic University.
Through her partnership with The Ladipo Group, Dr. Dougherty has provided DEI assessment services to clients such as Google, Cincinnati Convention and Visitors Bureau, PIDC and WOAR. Her DEI assessment work with these clients has encompassed policy and procedure reviews, in-depth interviews with leadership and other staff, focus groups and surveys.
Alison is a human resources practitioner who has served in Chief Human Resources roles, Talent Management, EEO, and Employee Relations. She currently serves as the Director of Talent Management at Saint Joseph’s University. Alison has a breadth of experience in higher education and the nonprofit industry.
