
Wanda Smith is an HR Consultant that brings over 20 years of HR experience from the Healthcare, Insurance and Construction Management industries where she’s had responsibility coaching and supporting business leaders in aligning people strategies with business strategies.
Throughout her career, Wanda’s held leadership roles including Assistant Vice President, Human Resources, for South Jersey’s largest healthcare provider and HR Director for a regional property & casualty insurance company. She’s had oversight of Talent Acquisition and Talent Development departments, as well as many years of leading and developing HR Generalists and HR Business Partners. Wanda’s HR experience is varied and includes work in recruitment & retention, performance management employee relations, compliance training and development, organizational design and workforce planning.
Wanda graduated from Rutgers University School of Business/Douglass College with a B.S. in Business Management and earned an MBA with a Human Resources concentration from Drexel University. Additionally, Wanda holds certifications from both SHRM (SHRM-CP) and HRCI (SPHR) and is an experienced ICF trained leadership coach who enjoys helping others to recognize their full potential.
Personally, Wanda enjoys spending time with her closely knit circle of family and friends. When time allows, she enjoys reading, reality television and crocheting. She has a passion for serving the community and board membership. She currently serves on the board for Partners for Kids & Families, Inc., a non-profit CMO in Burlington County, NJ, and is an immediate past Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Cathedral Kitchen in Camden, NJ.
