Victoria Carr is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who empowers couples and
individuals to improve their relationships and interpersonal attachments.
Victoria successfully obtained a masters degree in Clinical & Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy, awarded by Chestnut Hill College. Using evidenced-based interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, and Mindfulness, Victoria has worked with individuals, couples, and families since 2013. Her area of expertise focuses on anxiety disorders, trauma, depression, LGBTQ, discrimination, communication and conflict issues, as well as relational and attachment issues. Victoria provides collaborative, holistic, person-centered counseling to help individuals and couples enhance their overall wellbeing.
Because research shows that unhealthy relationships can cause both physical and emotional distress, Victoria seeks to help clients explore their family histories, relational patterns, and experiences of intimacy and attachment with others. She also assists in exploring self- talk, stressors, and other life challenges that can sometimes impact the healing process. Victoria thoroughly enjoys helping others on their journey to self-discovery and growth, and willingly offers a listening and supportive ear to whatever challenges may arise.
In her spare time, Victoria loves going to art museums, writing poetry, gardening, and singing with family and friends. She also is an avid consumer of food and coffee, and enjoys watching endless hours of Netflix and reality-television.
