Workouts For the Fall Season!

It’s officially Fall time! Did you know that exercise is one of the most effective ways to improve your mental health? Exercise is known to help relieve stress, improve your memory and help your overall mood. Stuck in an exercise rut? Here are just a few tips on how to update your workout routine in this new Fall Season:

Enjoy the Outdoors
Go for a walk or run outdoors. With the weather cooling down, take your workout outside. Smell the fresh air and feel the sunshine on your face. The Vitamin D is an instant mood lifter and a great change of scenery from the local gym treadmill. The darker your skin the less Vitamin D you absorb in the fall and winter months. Be mindful of ways you can increase your time in the sun as the daylight hours decrease.

Find A New Workout Partner
There are so many added benefits to exercising with a friend. Not only can you encourage each other, but it will help keep you accountable on those days that you want to skip leg day!

Try Something New
